Bringing In The Sheaves
GOD provides the harvest, we joyfully help to bring it in!

Dear friends,
Thank you for visiting us today!
Shalom!
We are "Bringing In The Sheaves", a small group, often going out in just two's or three's, sometimes gathering in slightly bigger groups, dedicated to sowing the
שָׁלוֹם
Gospel of Yeshua!

Gathering for:
The Word Of GOD
Fellowship
& Praise
The Great Commission
Let not your heart be troubled...
As we approach the Biblical fulfilment of the things foretold that must take place before the return of Lord Yeshua (Jesus), we are told to remain steadfast. Indeed, Lord Yeshua gives this promise: " I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also" (John 14:3).
It's having this assurance that gives us peace in Yeshua. This world does not offer peace, indeed, even when the world will cry out for "peace and safety", we are told that "sudden destruction" will come. Indeed, only through abiding in Lord Yeshua can we be truly at peace. It's a peace that this world can never offer, because it is a peace that is of His kingdom and not of this world. We want to sow the seed of His peace and share His promise with others!

"But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved". (Matthew 24:13)
Yeshua or Jesus?
In this ministry we refer to "The WORD made FLESH", the second person of the Holy Trinity, as "Yeshua", but we don't mind "anyone else" using the name "Jesus". What matters is the sincerity of the heart declaring the name, and GOD knows the heart of each person. Certainly, this is not an issue that we would advocate should divide people! Throughout church history and today, people have been saved and ARE BEING SAVED by the mighty name of "Jesus"! It is simply our own preference to refer to our Lord using the Hebrew to retain the "Jewishness" of our Messiah, BUT DO NOT FROWN ON OTHERS who refer to our Lord as "Jesus".
Let's come together and celebrate our Lord!
"In the beginning was the word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". (John 1:1)

fallen alseep?
Lord Yeshua (Jesus) warns us about the signs to come and commands of us to continue to preach the Gospel of repentance to a world that has fallen asleep, yet there is also a warning in 1 Corinthians 15:18 to those who think they are in Messiah Yeshua, who believe wholeheartedly that they are sealed.
“Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.”
This is a really stark warning, as stark as the parable given by Messiah Yeshua which distinguishes between 5 wise virgins and 5 foolish ones in Matthew 25:1-13. Messiah Yeshua is warning that there will be many lost souls who never knew Him, never received Him at all, but there will be also those who think they did, but He never knew them. This should be a warning to all of us, to continue to examine ourselves to check that we are keeping faithful and are always ready for His return. What does it mean to be ready? Quite simply, it means living out the faith as well knowing the right faith, having full faith in Lord Yeshua. There is a difference between simply "knowing of" Lord Yeshua and actually having a living regenerated life with Lord Yeshua.
Our name "Bringing In The Sheaves"
Recorded in Matthew 9:37-30 is the following verse:
"Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest".
We believe that we have been commissioned to take forth the Gospel of Lord Yeshua (Jesus), even more now so as we see the day of His return approaching. We have a sense of urgency, and understand that there will come a time when we will be heavily persecuted and may not be able to. This is why it is ever more important to continue the great commission now while we still can. We believe we can't "build back better" this world that is passing away, it is not what Lord Yeshua commanded of us, we can of course speak up against injustices, but it is not our commission to try and save a dying world, it is our duty to serve GOD, serve brothers and sisters, and to carry out the great commission. It's also to important to remember that we must be living a life in obedience, as this is how the light of Lord Yeshua (Jesus) shines in a dark world to others. Otherwise, when we come to carry out the great commission, we won't be filled with the Holy Ghost and will be simply "hollow sounding cymbals".
Often set to a tune by American composer George Minor ( 1845-1904), who himself was a Sunday School teacher at a Baptist church in Richmond, Virginia, it was Knowles Shaw (1834–1878) who wrote the lyrics to "Bringing In The Sheaves" in 1874. It is based on Psalm 126:5-6, "He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him": He became known as the "Singing Evangelist".

Just as we see street preachers arrested for obediently carrying out the "Great Commission", there will come a time when Gospel music may even be outlawed...

"bearing precious seed"

the psalmist tells us of the release of the tribe of Judah from approximately 50 years of Babylonian captivity.
"When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream" (Psalm 126:1)
There is a sense of astonishment here, "could this really be happening? Has God really done this? It all seems like a dream!" But yes, GOD really did, and this is a reminder that God fulfils His promises and rewards and blesses those who work for His Name's sake.
In Psalm 126,

Psalm 126 - A Lesson for today
GOD in His mercy, always forewarns His people about their sin before punishing them. In this case, through various prophets like Micah, Jeremiah and Isaiah. GOD allowed the Israelites to be exiled, because they didn't observe the Sabbath and also fell into idolatry (Leviticus 25:1-7; 26:2-35) despite numerous warnings to them by their prophets to turn from their wicked ways.
In short, the Israelites had become complacent, almost too "comfortable" that they could live as GOD's people, yet live without obeying His commands. The lesson here for all of us is to remain obedient and not fall into complacency. However, after being released from the years of captivity, Psalm 126 captures the repentant hearts of the Israelites, hearts filled with joy, singing and praising God, and a "renewed dependency" on GOD again.
Now,
each and every person has been uniquely made in the "image of God", with their own free-will and various different talents that God has given them. Not everyone is a musician or gifted songwriter, not everyone has a concert level singing voice. To God, what matters, is a sincere heart and a life lived in obedience of the one doing the singing, or the playing of an instrument. At "Bringing In The Sheaves", none of us are expert singers or musicians, but we love coming together to praise God! You will often find us simply gathered playing a few tunes on acoustic instruments, however unpolished that is, and we always appreciate good music produced by others and will give a friendly little shout out in gratitude!
"Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord"
Psalm 150:6

"The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad".

One thing we like to do...
Is get out into the wild and enjoy God's creation
"“O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.” (Psalm 104:24). Sometimes it is really good to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, away from hi-tech society with it's many distractions, from constant social media feeds, to what's been reported in the global headlines spreading fear, and really take time to deepen our own relationship with God.
There are many examples in God's Word where people often find themselves in the wilderness. Although finding oneself in the wilderness can be a sign of God's judgement, as in the case of the Israelites, who were travelling in the wilderness for 40 years due to their disbelief, where God declares "Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness" (Numbers 14:29), God will often allow people to enter into the wilderness for a season to prepare them for a specific future calling or purpose. Sometimes it is a time of refinement whereby all the things we depend on are stripped away, and we are made to rely solely on God.

In The
Wilderness

Coming togather
To tabernacle...
In the written Word of God you will find the word "tabernacle", which can be translated as a form of "tent", a "portable sanctuary", where GOD's people come together. Indeed, we are told that Lord Yeshua Himself "tabernacled"
with us: "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." (John 1:14). If we have received Lord Yeshua (Jesus), then we will have the desire to fellowship with others who have also received Yeshua (Jesus), we will want to "tabernacle" with them. This is unity, it is a unity through the Holy Ghost (Spirit). Unity in Spirit and truth (John 4:24). It transcends all physical structures, systems, and "traditions of men".
It is important for GOD's people to come together especially in these times. But what if you have found yourself isolated, perhaps sent into the wilderness? If you are in the wilderness for whatever reason, physically, or spiritually, it is important for you to be sustained by GOD. This means putting your total trust on Him at all times.

The "Spiritual Prepper" in these times...
Is Lord Yeshua (Jesus) refining you? Are you prepared and ready for His return? Does He know you?

You may have heard of the term "prepper", and perhaps associate that with "storing items", or formulating "instructions" for survival. We see no harm in prudence, in being prepared for the times that are to come, especially if it serves as a means to continue to carry out the great commission and not as a means for "selfish worldly survival". However, what is more critical is being "spiritually prepared" for Lord Yeshua's return, when He will be returning to judge this world. One thing to bear in mind is the need to separate from this world, we exist within it, but are not part of it, if we are obeying Lord Yeshua.
Luke 9:23
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Contending For The Faith With The Right Sword
(The Word of God)
It's not an angry crusade, but it is serious!
"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear."
1 Peter 3:15 (KJV)
The Landscape We Have To Move Within (gracefully):

"Our approach is to keep preaching the Gospel of repentance and carry on faithfully"
Our Approach:
Always remembering that people we meet are made in the image of GOD, and that GOD doesn't wish to see anyone perish.
That's the heart of GOD...
"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance".
2 Peter 3:9
We are open to strike up conversations as and when, whoever the Lord decides will cross our path. We ask questions about what they see taking place in the world today and how they feel about it. We ask them how they feel about things, and what matters for them. We respectfully listen to their responses and then bring it into a place where these things are spoken about through a Biblical lens. We then give the Gospel and our own personal testimonies.
We always remember what it was like for us and where we were at in life before we knew who Lord Yeshua was. The Great Commission is always about "people" and desiring them to come to the truth out of love, because GOD loves them and wishes them to be saved. It's about "humbling ourselves" when we present GOD's "precious seed", the truth that saves!

The Rise Of THE Babel-Builders
A COMING ONE WORLD GLOBAL CHURCH SYSTEM

We are dedicated supporters of the nation of Israel and their sovereign right to defend themselves.
Our fellowship, "Bringing In The Sheaves," stands firm in our belief that God has a lasting plan for Israel. We believe the church has not replaced them in His master plan of salvation.
"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee."
-Psalm 122:6
Keeping watch on prophetic times

יֵשׁוּ
We are waiting for the return of Lord Yeshua. We are grafted into God's great plan of salvation, and a future remnant in Israel will be saved when Lord Yeshua returns and sets foot on the mount of Olives in Jerusalem, where He will rule for 1000 years on earth, before a New Heaven and Earth is made. God has not abandoned His people. Please read Romans 9-11, and visit our "Proclaimations and Declarations" page.
